Why Get This Book

Every kid has a treasure they won't let go of. Lenny the pack rat gets stuck in a thorny mess involving a hot air balloon, and his desert animal friends come to the rescue. He learns that friends are the most important treasures. Extra pages talk about how Jesus is our very best friend and greatest treasure. It's a fun read-aloud for little ones from Concordia Publishing House. Honest note: it's a simple picture book, best for preschool through early grade school. Next step: read John 15:15 together and talk about what makes Jesus our best friend.
